With Hogmanay disappearing into the rear view mirror it’s time to turn our attentions to Burns’ Night on January 26th the Saint Andrew’s Society of Los Angeles will be hosting an event to honor Scotland’s greatest poet at the Altadena Town & County Club, tucked away in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains. Expect good food and drink, haggis and familiar toasts.
Piper Cindi McIntosh will lead the haggis processional and music for the evening will be provided by the band Speyside, comprising harpist Aedan MacDonnell, guitarist Peter Romano and fiddler Chris Loken.
