Regular readers of this newspaper will recognize Craig as the mover and shaker behind Brits in LA, the ever-expanding local social group he founded with Eileen Lee. But Craig is also a busy working actor, and his upcoming association with Jaguar looks certain to set hearts (not just cars), racing.

The luxury car-maker made quite a splash with their US Super bowl commercial earlier this year. Titled “Its Good to Be Bad”, the ad featured Jaguar’s new F-type performance car and a slew of renowned British acting talent including Avengers star Tom Hiddleston and Oscar-winning actor Ben Kingsley.

The Follow the Villain online miniseries features a mysterious baddie (Craig), four stunning Jaguar cars, an enigmatic leading lady, a group of antagonists, and some dramatic car chases amid striking locations.

Craig’s career in on-screen villainy started on the UK award-winning TV series “Dream Team” portraying ex-con turned-pro soccer player Alex Wilkinson. Following his move to America he secured a succession of leading roles that including three of J.J Abraham’s hit productions; “Lost,” “What About Brian” and the cult sci-fi phenomenon “Fringe”. He is perhaps best known for his recurring role as the villainous Dracul Comescu in NCIS: Los Angeles.

Craig told us of his role in the latest Jaguar promotion: “I was thrilled to get behind the wheel of this beautiful, sleek, high-performance machine. 550 horsepower is sheer winning in style and I am thrilled and honored to be chosen as the next super-villain in this fantastic series.”

Craig hits the big screen this coming fall playing a good guy in the multiple award-winning “Return to the Hiding Place” following a successful limited release in eight cities in the US earlier this month.

Jaguar will be rolling out all five commercials with the hashtag #followthevillain.
