Raign of error: singer had no idea Cheryl hated her!

X Factor singer Raign has opened up about her feud with former Girls Aloud loudmouth Cheryl Tweedy.

raign   In a televised catfight that has riveted the UK, the singer missed out on the chance to progress in the top-rated TV talent show after Cheryl persuaded head honcho Simon Cowell to let her go.

Cheryl made it clear that she disliked the eccentric Los Angeles-based singer right from the off and even said to Simon: “I can’t stand her. I couldn’t work with her. There’s no way. I’m allergic to her.”

Oo-er…

But Raign (real name Rachel Rabin) said she was unaware of Chezza’s ire and only found out when she watched her auditions on TV.

She told top British showbiz website Digital Spy: “I literally watched that on the television with the rest of you. I had no idea.

“Obviously when you go on a show like this, you go out to be judged, and Cheryl is a judge. You have to prepare yourself in advance for the fact that not everyone can like what you do. And that’s fine.

“Cheryl’s comments – I only heard what she said directly after each performance.

“All the rest of it, I didn’t even know was happening until I saw it on TV.”

She added that Cheryl’s harsh views didn’t bother her.

“Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I went on the show to be judged. You just can’t take it personally. It’s her opinion,” she said.

How dignified!

Raign was strongly rumored to be returning to the show as a one of its wildcard acts, though that’s not happening now, leaving us all to wonder if Chezza was taking her hatred a bit too far.                  I’m not too surprised by Cheryl’s clenched fists and evil smirks, however… We are talking about the same girl who was arrested over an alleged racist assault in a nightclub calling a female lavatory attendant a ‘jigaboo’…

Hmm, I rest my case!
