The Saint Andrews Society of Los Angeles will host their 84th Annual Robert Burns Supper on Saturday, Jan. 24th from 6pm at the Altadena Town & Country Club, 2290 Country Club Drive in Altadena.
Scotland’s greatest poet will be celebrated with good food and good companionship along with the music of Grammy Award-winner Susan Craig Winsberg and her Trio. The event features a Celtic reception, hors d’Oeuvres, hosted reception bar, whisky tasting, and a haggis processional led by society piper Cindi McIntosh. The traditional Address to a Haggis will be performed by Lynn Ferguson. Attendees should expect ‘scrumptious’ food plenty of toasts and dancing to follow.
