Busy month ahead for BABC OC

handshakeThe British-American Business Council in Orange County will host a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, June 9th from 6-8pm at Timothy Oulton at HD Buttercup, 3305 Hyland Avenue in Costa Mesa. Wine and cheese will be served as guests enjoy the unique creations of one of Britain’s leading furniture brands.

Oulton currently has 34 retail galleries worldwide, and is well known for his collection at Restoration Hardware. His signature creations fuse modern construction techniques informed by a classic British aesthetic. Oulton, the son of a British antiques dealer, was immersed in the business from an early age. He was educated at Ampleforth College in an old Benedictine monastery, which would later inspire his signature classic English style.

Five days later, on Sunday, June 14th from 1-4pm the BABC OC will hold their Annual Garden Party at the Dunes Waterfront Resort, 1131 Back Bay Drive in Newport Beach. Attendees can meet friends and business colleagues in a gracious setting featuring afternoon tea with croquet, Pimms, champagne, lemonade and vintage cars. The event features a silent auction benefitting the BABC scholarship program, the popular hat competition and much more. Tickets are priced at $65 for members and $75 for guests.
