The Holmby Lawn Bowling Club, which has practiced this most gentle of English outdoor pursuits since 1927, is hosting an Open House this Saturday, August 1st from 10.30am to 2pm and invites LA Residents from the United Kingdom to attend.
The event features free refreshments and bowling lessons. The sport is easy to learn, inexpensive, offers healthy exercise and is an easy way to meet new people.
