Only one week left for Hay Fever

NOEL COWARD fans, take note: there is just one weekend left to see a riotous production of the Master’s classic Hay Fever at Theatre Palisades.

First performed in 1925, Hay Fever is best described as a cross between high farce and a comedy of manners. Set in an English country house in the 1920s, the play deals with the four eccentric members of the Bliss family and their outlandish behaviour when they each invite a guest to spend the weekend. The self-centred behaviour of the hosts finally drives their guests to flee while the Blisses are so engaged in a family row that they do not notice their guests’ furtive departure.

The producton at Theatre Palisades stars Mark Davidson, Holly Sidellf and Yvonne Robertson. Tickets are $20, $18 for Students & Seniors. Performances at 8pm Friday and Saturday. Sunday matinee at 2pm. For tickets call (310) 454-1970 or visit www.theatrepalisades.ticketleap.com/hay-fever.
