Selling his new movie, Tom opens up about Hiddleswift – almost!

Tom Hiddleston has finally broken his silence over Taylor Swift break-up… and… he just happens to have a new movie – Kong: Skull Island being released this week…

      Oo-er!

The Brit actor shocked fans when he embarked on a whirlwind romance with the Grammy Award-winning singer last year. And although their spark seemed to fizzle out as quickly as it ignited, Tom is still hounded with questions over the high-profile relationship.

But finally Hiddleston is opening up on the relationship. Does he regret being quite so public with Taylor? It seems not…

In a revealing interview with The Telegraph, The Night Manager star – who normally rebuffs romance questions – had a sharp response when asked if he regretted the gossip frenzy that came from the short-lived fling.

“What should I regret, in your mind?” he asked, before adding: “I would rather not talk about this, if that’s alright.”

However, despite his seemingly frosty reaction, Tom elaborated on why he has no regrets.

Explaining that he believes his private life and acting career should be kept separate, he said:

“I’m just thinking about this. Everyone is entitled to a private life.

“I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment and in my mind I don’t conflict the two.

“My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are

separate.”

Although their PDA-filled trips around Europe were splashed across newspapers worldwide,

it seems Tom has no resentment towards the attention he received from being with Taylor.

Speaking about his famous ex last year, he had only nice things to say.

“Taylor is an amazing woman. She’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time. A relationship always takes work. And it’s not just the limelight. It’s everything else,” Tom explained.

Well, whatever the reason Tom has decided to open up to us all… I’ll still be standing in line to see ‘Kong: Skull Island’ this coming weekend, and I won’t be giving two hoots or a second thought about Hiddleston’s love life or Taylor Swift.

King Kong’s the star. However, I will enjoy watching Tom being squashed by the giant ape… That will be fun to see, (sorry Tom)…
