And in other “ex-Spice Girl” news, Mel Brown revealed she once slapped X-Factor supremo Simon Cowell for calling her fat… Er, this WAS while she was pregnant, of course!
The fit 37-year-old X Factor: Australia judge told how she warned the music mogul not to make jibes about her weight, but he paid no heed and threw out some personal remarks during a dinner they were having together.
Brown is known to be a bit of a fierce character at the best of times, hence the name ”Scary Spice,” so the fact that she was pregnant AND hormonal at the time would surely heighten her infamous “scary” temper.
However, this didn’t deter Simon, who eventually called her “fat,” so she slapped him in the mush.
Mel said that she only hit him because he was teasing her for ordering too much food and eating so much while they were dining out at a restaurant together.
She said: “I kept saying to him, ‘Excuse me, I’m pregnant – do not be like that with me’ and then at the end of the meal he called me fat. So I just slapped him.”
Good girl… And rightly so too, I say!
