British actor Josh Bowman, and his girlfriend Emily VanCamp might have broken off their engagement in the first season of the hit ABC drama Revenge, but in real life it’s a whole different story.
Taking a relaxing break from their scheming and plotting characters Daniel Grayson, and the vindictive Emily Thorne, the couple were spotted on a romantic date holding hands after having a spot brunch together in Los Angeles, last Thursday.
The lovebirds, who got together at the end of last year, then popped to their local grocery store to pick up some fresh cut flowers before heading on home.
24-year-old Josh had always remained tight-lipped about his romance with co-star Emily, 26, until recently when he broke his silence on his hypothetical off-screen affair, saying: “I tell them to f*** off because it’s none of their business, and then it becomes less about the show and more about who I’m dating.”
The ex-Holby City star also spoke about sharing the small screen with VanCamp, saying: “She’s just really great to work with. She’s experienced and confident in the tracking of her character.
“She’s been working a lot longer than I have.”
Though heartthrob Josh, by his own admission is a “newbie” when it comes to acting, he has aspirations to become a big star in Hollywood one day.
He told September’s Rolling Stone magazine: “I love Danny Boyle, I love Woody Allen. I’m researching Billy Wilder, Ingmar Bergman and Christopher Nolan.
“I want to work with those guys, 100 percent I’m going to do my best to be in the same room as them and work hard to earn the right to work with them.”
I think Josh is doing a mighty fine job on the show, and his American accent is a winner with me… I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him take Tinseltown by storm one day!
