According to reports, British actor Jamie Bell has married his actress girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood – after they were photographed together both wearing gold wedding bands at LAX airport on Monday.
Further evidence that substantiates the claim that the Billy Elliott star and his alleged bride have tied-the-knot came when another eyewitness told how he watched Jamie, 26 and The Wrestler star Evan, 25, line up for a marriage license in Beverly Hills just two weeks ago.
But the couple was certainly not behaving like a pair of loved-up newlyweds, even though they were sporting the telltale accessories. According to one onlooker they were both dressed “downcast, hidden behind hats and dark glasses.”
The onlooker said: “I had to do a double take as at first I didn’t recognize them. They looked like any other young couple in love.
“They were just waiting in line like regular people, holding hands and at one point Jamie leaned over and kissed Evan – they certainly looked excited and happy,” he said.
The couple has dated for a little over year after they met on the set of a Green Day music video back in 2005.
