I hear Skyfall singer Adele has just splashed out a whopping $8.9million (£5.6million) on a new five-bedroom house in London’s uber-fashionable Notting Hill.
The purchase comes shortly after the multi-Grammy award winning star gave birth to her first child, two weeks ago.
Adele, currently living in a rented ten-bedroom mansion in Sussex, England with fiancé Simon Konecki plans to move into the new home in West London sometime in January.
Earlier this year the proud new mother was the wealthiest young British musician featured on The Sunday Times Rich List, after amassing over $32million (£20 million) in royalties from hits such as “Rolling in the Deep” and “Someone Like You,” so it’s nice to see her investing her wealth wisely.
Notting Hill is one of the swankiest neighbourhood’s money can buy. Adele and Simon can count big names such as singer Kylie Minouge, royal sister-in-law Pippa Middleton and fashion designer Stella McCartney, to name a few, among her neighbors….
