Congratulations to British film director Guy Ritchie and his fiancée Jacqui Ainsley, who gave birth to their second child – a baby girl, at a private London hospital earlier this week.
A spokesperson for Guy Ritchie said: “We can confirm that Guy and Jacqui are the proud parents of a new baby girl. Mother and baby are doing well.”
The proud parents have been dating since spring 2010, 44-year-old Ritchie, and model Jacqui, 30, already have son Rafael, 14 months.
Last month the Sherlock Holmes supremo, who was once married to pop star Madonna, decided he was ready once again to head down the aisle when he asked Jacqui to be his wife, and the pair became engaged.
A friend said: “They are both utterly delighted at the birth of their second child. The fact that’s they now have a girl is an added bonus – and Guy is particularly pleased about this. He always wanted a boy and a girl.
“Everything went to plan and the pair of them couldn’t be happier now.”
No other details regarding the birth or the baby have yet been revealed, but I’m told Guy is thrilled with the arrival of his daughter.
