It seems that Welsh opera babe Katherine Jenkins is still wowing the U.S.
The sexy blonde has already increased her profile on this side of the pond after appearing on the hit telly show Dancing with the Stars, and now it looks like Jenkins could be carving out a career on the silver screen.
I can reveal that the classical star has been doing the rounds… having secret meetings with some of Tinseltown’s biggest casting directors, who are keen for Katherine to screen-test for some huge upcoming film roles.
And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, with Les Misérables starring Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman set to take the box office by storm this Christmas, I’m told this type of flick is right up Katherine’s street.
As she swanned around New York City earlier this week wearing a stunning black and white polka dot dress appearing on The Rachel Ray Show, Good Morning America and Good Day New York, where she sang the festive favourite, “Away in a Manger” the bombshell let slip some juicy gossip on Twitter.
She Tweeted: “Just leaving GMA, next – a meeting with Harvey Weinstein about something secret but very exciting! #Tease”
