According to TMZ California has filed a tax lien against British actress Kate Beckinsale for…wait for it… a whopping $1,052 that she allegedly owes to the Golden State’s treasury.
The state claims that Beckinsale didn’t pay up the amount between January 1, 2012, to March 31, 2012, which is probably just a clerical issue from the person who manages her finances.
This wouldn’t take much of a bite out the Underworld star’s net worth, and is small potatoes when compared to Pamela Anderson, who recently owed $112,000, while Steven Seagal owes a massive $335,606. And singer Christina Milian currently owes the federal government $17,458, according to reports.
Not to mention Lindsay Lohan’s tax bill, which is, allegedly way up in the six figures too.
Beckinsale’s representative says that she doesn’t owe anything and there’s been a mistake. Well, her rep would say that!
