Extravagant music mogul Simon Cowell brought new meaning the words jet-set lifestyle this week after the X Factor boss flew from London to LA on his private jet.
However, instead of enjoying the usual in-flight catering, he had his meal made in advance by one of his favourite restaurants in London.
Si’s posh nosh was specially created by top restaurant Scalini in South Kensington and was then couriered to his jet.
He also took with him a full afternoon tea of cucumber sandwiches, scones and raspberry jam.
Yum!
Then, from his jet, Simon tweeted: “Currently at 35,000 feet. Dinner is pasta and bean soup from a restaurant called Scalini’s which is beyond delicious.”
Simon had been in the UK working with One Direction and holding crisis talks for this year’s X Factor show.
