Great news… Adele is teaming up with her mate Robbie Williams to record a new tune!
The Grammy, Brit and Oscar-winning singer, 24, has agreed to sing a duet with Williams, 39, on his next album, a return to the swing theme.
A source said Adele and Williams “really hit it off” after meeting at the Brit Awards four years ago.
“They are great friends and talked at length about doing something together when she was in LA with him ahead of the Oscars last month,”said the source.
“They threw some ideas around but haven’t decided exactly what song they’d like to work on, things are in the early stages.”
Adele has never collaborated on a song with anyone before. In the past, Williams, who was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004, being voted as the “Greatest Artist of the 1990s” has dueted with a range of performers including Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue and even the flamboyant British actor, Rupert Everett.
Sounds like a winning collaboration to me… I can’t wait to hear the results!
