The British American Business Council’s Distinguished Speaker Series Lunch continues on Friday, August 2nd with Robert Elstone, CEO of Everton Football Club, on Friday, August 2nd from Noon-1.30pm at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, 300 S. Doheny Drive in Los Angeles.
Robert was initially appointed as Deputy CEO of Everton in 2005, having forged a commanding reputation as an expert in sports business. In his time at Everton, Robert has introduced a number of key organizational and structural developments that have led to improved financial performance, greater stability in the business and a strong, empowered Management team. Robert has also been responsible for substantial commercial progress in retail, ticketing and sponsorship including the Club’s record-breaking Chang deal.
Robert was appointed Acting CEO at Everton on August 5, 2008. On January 22, 2009, the Club confirmed that Robert was to become the permanent CEO.
Also in attendance will be club coach Roberto Martinez and two key members of the Everton squad.
Tickets are priced at $25 for BABC LA members and $45 for non-members. Registration must be finished by Noon on August 1st.
