Earlier this week former Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle announced details of an upcoming release…she’s expecting her first child… Oo-er!
The star revealed the news in the most classiest of ways … on, er… her Instagram page (I mean come on Nadine, REALLY???) by posting a picture of herself looking shocked with the caption: “I am having a baby. X”
The 28-year-old from Londonderry does not mention who the father is or when she is expecting.
Earlier this year she was pictured with former fiancé and American footballer Jason Bell.
The pair dated for three years but announced their one-year engagement had ended in June 2011.
Former bandmate Cheryl Cole tweeted her congratulations, writing: “I just woke up to the news that there is to be a baby aloud!! This is so crazy. But Amazing!!
Ex-Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts tweeted: “Congratulations on your lovely news x.”
Girls Aloud announced they were splitting up earlier this year following the last night of their 10th anniversary celebration tour.
The girl group had four UK number one singles, two UK number one albums and received nominations for five Brit Awards, winning best single in 2009 for The Promise.
