Last weekend I had pleasure of attending the Church of Scientology’s Celebrity Centre 44th Anniversary Gala in Hollywood, along with my friends ex-Miss Great Britain Leilani Dowding and actor Craig Robert Young (inset pic).
The night itself was hopping for some of Tinseltown’s most famous Church members, including John Travolta, his wife Kelly Preston along with fellow Scientologists Jenna Elfman, Erika Christensen, Anne Archer, Chick Corea, Michael Pena, Orange is the New Black‘s stunning actress Laura Prepon and of course Britain’s own Leilani [Dowding]!
The annual celebratory gala spotlights the accomplishments of the Church’s humanitarian programs, including human rights; drug education, prevention and rehabilitation; literacy and learning; disaster relief; and moral values for a modern world.
In support of the Church and its humanitarian efforts the world over, British TV host Dani Behr, who attended the event with Anne Archer and Terry Jastrow took to her Facebook page on Monday, writing: “Scientology CC gala dinner sat night… Fun night! photo with ol ‘word’ buddy Sean Borg and new friend Leilani, fab dress designer.
The blonde beauty added: “Many of my amazing friends are scientologists and I want all u guys to know the amazing work these guys do every single day- inspirational evening- thanks for including me the incomparable Jastrows!!”
Well, that says it all for me… A night thoroughly enjoyed, indeed… Can’t wait until next year!
