After seeing Sharon Osbourne crying her eyes out the other night during her son Jack’s acceptable performance on Dancing with the Stars, I’m not surprised to hear the following news: that ‘our’ Shazza reportedly wants to bow out of the spotlight when the current X Factor series ends.
Longtime judge, Sharon, – now 60 years-old – says she wants to concentrate on being a full-time grandmother to Jack’s daughter Pearl.
The Osbournes matriarch has always maintained she was returning to the show for one series only and will head back to Los Angeles when it finishes at the end of the year.
Now, the music guru says she wants to help Jack, who has multiple sclerosis, and his wife Lisa Stelly after she suffered a miscarriage earlier this month. Sharon has had a long and illustrious career in the music industry but she is perhaps best known for her marriage to heavy metal rocker Ozzy.
Together the pair became household names, with shows like The Osbournes pushing them firmly into the spotlight.
The pair, who had to fight rumors earlier this year that their marriage was in difficulty, are estimated to be worth over $200m…
Oo-er…that’s a tidy sum of dosh to retire on, wouldn’t you agree…? (Though, I can’t see this happening just yet!)
