British TV host Cat Deeley is going from strength to strength in the U.S…she’s even scored the September cover of sophisticated lifestyle magazine ‘Vegas‘.
The So You Think You Can Dance beauty is seen grinning from ear-to-ear for the camera while wearing a high-neck black top. A sure sign that things are going well for her!
In the accompanying interview, Cat reveals she is a bit of an adventurer at heart when it comes to her fashion choices.
She said: “I always think how you feel on a day depends on what you put on. I felt quite girly today and a bit hot and bothered, so I put on this little vintage dress.”
The cover-girl and Emmy nominee told her boss and fellow Brit Nigel Lythgoe on American telly earlier this week, that she’s “absolutely delighted” to be nominated AGAIN for the third time. But while she’s honoured by the recognition, the show’s success is a bigger milestone in her mind.
She said: “An Emmy won’t actually change my life – it would be an incredibly proud moment, and it would be a lovely thing to happen and I would never say no to it and I love everything that it’s about — but it hasn’t changed my life.”
Cat, who now lives permanently in LA, travels back and forth to London to spend time with her husband, comedian and television personality Patrick Kielty.
The sexy blonde told how the long distance nature of their marriage doesn’t affect the romance in their relationship at all, explaining: “We have an absolutely lovely time when we’re together, because we’re like, ‘Oh, I have to go again in a minute.”
Aww, see…this proves that absence does make the heart grow fonder… Well-done Cat and er, good luck at the Emmys!
