Actress Jessica Raine can also be seen as the programme’s first producer, the late Verity Lambert, while Sacha Dhawan stars as first director Waris Hussein.

The feature-length installment, which airs on Saturday 23 November, on BBC America, will bring current Doctor Matt Smith and Tenth Doctor David Tennant together.

An Adventure in Space and Time premieres Friday, November 22nd at 9pm ET/PT on BBC America.
