The BABC OC is committed to giving back to the community and with that in mind six years ago launched the Scholarship Program to send disadvantaged High School students to the ACS International School – a British Studies Summer Program in Cobham, England. Scholarships are awarded to 16-17 year old students via an essay contest; winners are selected and sent on an all-expense paid trip to England for two weeks. Trip includes airfare, room/board and day trips. BABC OC believes that this life-altering cultural experience opens up the eyes of students who would not generally have the opportunity to travel overseas.
Pure Game is a teaching platform that infuses a progressive style of sporting play with a character-building curriculum for boys and girls. Their vision is to have children realize their potential, learn how to contribute to the community, and give them the confidence to make positive choices in life that reflect their uniqueness. They accomplish this by offering small-sided soccer leagues that include a character education/development program.
