Sean Stewart, son of the legendary British rocker Rod Stewart, caught up with his with childhood friend – fashion designer Nikki Lund in Malibu last weekend as the paps spotted the pair soaking up the sun (and sea) on a day at the beach.
As they splashed around in the Pacific Ocean, the designer looked “white hot” in her teeny-bikini while Sean opted for a pair of cool mint green board shorts to surf in. Perhaps the pair were reminiscing about the past as Sean and his sister Kimberley Stewart, along with the Kardashian clan, grew up with Nikki in Beverly Hills back in the early nineties.
Sean, who up until recently dated former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof, is now clearly enjoying single life yet again as he showed of his surfing skills to Lund.
Nikki, a busy clothes designer by trade owns Nikki Rich Clothing with Bon Jovi icon Richie Sambora. However, recently the blonde beauty revealed a hidden talent as a pop singer.
She told RumorFix this week: “I am so excited by my new single, I have been performing as an artist on stage since I was 15 years-old, long before I met Richie Sambora.”
“This is It” is co-written by Nikki and hit writer Lauren Christy, who has written tracks for Rihanna, Shakira, Britney Spears and Katy Perry, and produced by the Boutique Recordings team of Justin Kielty, James Bailes and Joy Malcolm.
The song is already getting lots of radio play in the UK and is a big hit with European DJs in Spain, Germany and France.
“This is It” is due for release August 2014.
And for Nikki and Sean? Well, I can confirm the pair are just good friends…in fact Sean was instead recently linked with Vogue model Sophia Mondi.
So there…that’s settled that one then!
