Utilizing a large business network honed over years in corporate boardrooms on both sides of the Atlantic, Mr. Davies has developed a corporate outreach program for CASA, which has resulted in a number of new corporate supporters and board members and has significantly raised CASA’s profile within the community.

“I am often asked why and how I became involved with CASA,” said Davies recently. “When CASA lost its governmental funding as a result of the unintended consequences of budget cuts, a very good friend of mine Bruce Herron… told me about some of the challenges facing CASA, not the least of which was the fact that the organization had not seen the need to market its cause and needs to the corporate world. My son, incidentally spent six years looking after abused children…so I had some sense of the horrific challenges these children face and felt I had something to offer.”

“It is a journey and much still remains to be done to sustain corporate  (and other) funding flows that will allow CASA to significantly increase the number of foster children who have one of our wonderful volunteers devoted to their lives,” said Davies.

On December 31, 2013 Jeremy was appointed by Her Majesty, The Queen, as an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to British business interests in the USA. He recently received his award at Buckingham Palace from His Royal Highness Prince Charles.
