BOND IS back in business and schussing down the Alps!

Filming for Spectre, the latest 007 blockbuster and once again starring hunky British star Daniel Craig, has been taking place in snowy Austria.

Associate producer Gregg Wilson said this week: “We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie.

“A jewel in the crown so to speak.

“It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off.”

Director Sam Mendes and his team face a battle to improve on the massive success of Skyfall, but production designer Dennis Gassner believes they are up to the task.

He said: “The thing that Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top Skyfall, it’s going to be Spectre and so far it’s a great start.

“I think that we are going to continue the history of the Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audience to look at and what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world?”

Earlier this month Bond bosses were left worried after Craig, who is playing the super-spy for the fourth time, injured himself on set. The accident happened while the 46-year-old was filming a fight scene at Pinewood Studios. Craig suffered a sprained knee, causing the film’s extras to be sent home.

However, like the legendary spy our Daniel seems to have remarkable powers of recovery and was soon back at work…

The plot centers on a cryptic message from Bond’s past which sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre!

Also returning in are Skyfall stars Naomi Harris, Ben Whishaw and Ralph Fiennes as Bond’s boss M.

Italian beauty Monica Bellucci has joined the cast and the 50-year-old will make history as the oldest ever Bond girl.

Oo-er!

Spectre is scheduled for release on November 7…

  My excitement cannot be contained!
