TICKETS are now on sale for the 56th Annual BABC Christmas Luncheon, considered by many local expats to be THE social highlight of the year. This year’s event will be held on Friday, December 11th at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, 101 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica. Tickets are priced at $150 -$200 each with discounts available for tables of ten. This event also features excellent sponsorship and advertising opportunities for local businesses.
The event kicks off with a hosted champagne reception at 11.30am, followed by traditional British Christmas luncheon with all the trimmings. As always there will be a silent auction, a grand raffle featuring spectacular trips, and the annual toy drive benefitting the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
Design icon Dame Zandra Rhodes will deliver the invocation, and the event also features celebrity host Louise Roe, the internationall-renowned British fashion journalist, author and TV personality who has appeared regularly on the BBC, E!, Fox, MTV and NBC. Guest speaker is Nigel Barker, the celebrated fashion photographer and longtime judge on America’s Next Top Model.
