With my month-long trip back home winding down I decided to treat myself for the last few days and check in to the Sanborn Yacht Hotel right on the river in London.
Yup you heard that right! A yacht, which his also a hotel, stationed in the Docklands right by he Excel center. A bizarre concept, but nonetheless, huge fun. When I’ve not been filming I’ve been catching up with old friends and seeing lots of West End theatre including Brits in LA member Michael Greco’s new show Exposure, about a young photographer who makes a pact with the devil in the world of paparazzi. Michael excels as Mason.
I also saw Mike Bartlet’s most recent play called Wild, and intriguing show which manages to pull of one of the most elaborate scene changes I’ve ever seen. And then finally for fun I saw Sunny Afternoon, the story of Ray Davies and the Kinks. A really good musical that will you have up out of your seats and dancing in the aisles with all your favorite tunes from this seminal 1960s British bnd.
