What a night of pulse-pounding drama it was on Tuesday August 14th at the Brits in LA Pub Quiz as two teams tied for the win, sending the contest into trivia’s version of a penalty shootout decider.

The battle between returning champs God Save The Team and challengers Keep Ruth Bader Ginsburg Alive went to the second sudden death question at the packed Cat and Fiddle.
That’s when God Save The Team pulled out the victory – correctly identifying song lyrics as those to Jeremy by Pearl Jam – to stretch their winning run to a record sixth straight week by the narrowest of margins.
The champs, pictured here with quizmaster Sandro Monetti, won $75 and a special kings and queens of the castle trophy.
The close battle for the trivia crown continues next Tuesday at the Cat, 8pm sharp, August 21.Quiz
