‘Oli-Wood’ calling for this young British talent

Everyone’s talking about Oli’ Smiles!

Call it a cliché when a cute young British model has his sights set on becoming a star in Hollywood. But everyone deserves a shot at the big-time!

And Oliver Smiles is no exception.

The Leicester-born hunk, who moved to London six years ago after being head-hunted by top agent Tandy Anderson at Select, is already packing his bags and heading to Tinseltown.

Smiles told me, “I was scouted by Tandy (Anderson) the owner of Select models on platform 5 of Rugby station. That was like a dream come true and put me on a totally new career path.”

The ‘Steve McQueen look-a-alike’, known for his moody and mysterious James Dean persona has caught the attention of casting directors stateside, and his move to America is all but a done deal.

Smiles is now grinning from ear to ear after being snapped up by an LA-based agent. He said, “I signed with a new agent in the U.S. and landed my first role within a few weeks. I’m kinda pinching myself.”

The blonde haired, blue eyed heartthrob added, “I always felt I had something to offer towards acting world. I used to joke around and say to people, I’m an actor… I’m heading to Los Angeles soon, now serendipity has played its part. I’m actually doing it. Wow!”

“I love modeling, but I only modeled to get my foot in the door so I could pursue my dream of becoming an actor. I am happy to say it’s paying off!”

      “I’m overwhelmed,” he said.

….And something tells me La-La-Land soon will be too!
