Madness play rare local gig

EVERYONE’s favorite Eighties goofy geezers, Madness, are back for an LA live date in May as part of their ‘C’est La Vie in America’ tour.

The iconic band, based in Camden Town, north London, were leading lights in the English ska and pop music scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Their most successful period was from 1980 to 1986, when the band’s songs spent a total of 214 weeks on the UK Singles Charts.

In November the band released their first new album in years – Theatre of the Absurd Presents C’est La Vie – and have just completed a sold-out UK tour.

Madness will perform for one night only at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood on May 26. Tickets available at LiveNation.com and most major ticket outlets.
