The Hollyshorts Film Festival – a kind of World Cup for short films – is back in Los Angeles this month with plenty of British talent in the lineup.
Judi Dench, Stephen Fry, Michael Caine and Martin Freeman all have shorts screening at the Oscar and BAFTA qualifying event which runs from August 13-23 at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood.
One of the British titles going in with the most buzz is acclaimed thriller The Intimacy Coordinator which features prolific Sandro Monetti among its production team.
Louisa Connolly Burnham, a previous Hollyshorts best director winner for Sister Wives, writes, directs and stars as an intimacy coordinator on film sets who is secretly a sex addict. That film plays on Saturday August 22.
