Susan Boyle hit an embarrassing note in her career earlier this week when she had to stop singing half way through performing a Christmas carol on American daytime show The View.
Looking like a rabbit caught in the headlights, Boyle cut short her performance of O Holy Night as she began to cough, she then apologized before asking producers: “Can we do that again?” clearly not realizing the show was going out live.
“Oh my God, beautiful,” said host Sherri Shepherd, as she rushed to Scottish star’s side with co-host Whoopi Goldberg, partially sparing the singer’s blushes.
But after confessing to having “a frog in my throat” the audience praised Boyle’s vocals with rapturous applause.
All’s well that ends well, at least no one can ever accuse Susan Boyle of miming… Good on the little lass!
