Mel B would &#8216;love&#8217; Adele to join Spice reunion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seanborg.com\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-16505\" src=\"http:\/\/www.british-weekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/sean-borg-final.gif\" alt=\"sean-borg-final\" width=\"216\" height=\"39\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>America\u2019s Got Talent\u00a0judge\u00a0Mel B\u00a0would love superstar singer\u00a0Adele\u00a0to join the\u00a0Spice Girls\u00a0for their reported upcoming anniversary tour.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rumors have been rife for months that the hit girl group will be reuniting this year to mark 20 years since the release of their debut single\u00a0Wannabe.<\/p>\n<p>It has been reported that\u00a0Victoria Beckham\u00a0and now\u00a0Mel C, a.k.a\u00a0Melanie Chisholm, had proved to be stumbling blocks in arranging a reunion, and Adele is said to have offered her\u00a0services if the group need a replacement at any point.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-19260\" src=\"http:\/\/www.british-weekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/sean-borg-spice-and-adele.gif\" alt=\"sean-borg-spice-and-adele\" width=\"216\" height=\"128\" \/>Asked what she thought about the\u00a0\u2018Rolling in the Deep\u2019\u00a0singer joining the Spice Girls during an interview on British television show Lorraine this week, Los Angeles-based Mel laughed:\u00a0\u201cOh Adele, that would be good! I love her! We all love her!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mel is currently in the U.K. to host the British\u00a0LGBT Awards\u00a0on Friday. After flying in on Tuesday she was quick to meet up with former bandmates Emma Bunton and Geri Horner (nee Halliwell), and said the girls couldn\u2019t help discuss plans for a reunion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, we definitely want to do something,\u201d\u00a0Mel explained.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s a celebration of us still doing our thing 20 years on and still being supportive of each other, so we will see what happens. We are all just kind of in talks right now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s funny because I landed yesterday and I met up with a few of my Spices and we were doing a big time reminisce. I had a nice little\u00a0cup of tea with Geri and Emma last night and it was lovely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Mel was born in England, she spends most of her time in Los Angeles, where her three daughters go to school. But she has always been something of a globetrotter, and said in the interview that she\u2019s a fan of the nomadic\u00a0lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI come over a lot for work but I\u2019m based in Los Angeles, I have been for about the last 12 or 13 years as my kids go to school there,\u201d\u00a0she said.\u00a0\u201cBut then I have spent a bit of time in Australia and New York \u2013 I\u2019m a bit of a gypsy and I like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Not sure it would every happen, but I would to see Adele rocking on stage with the Spice Girls, I doubt it would ever happen though.
